Business Lighting
Program

Rebates that can cover up to 100% of your lighting material costs. LED lamps, fixtures, controls, and signage — all eligible through Manitoba's Crown corporation energy efficiency program.

DLC & ENERGY STAR Certified

All eligible products must be DLC listed, ENERGY STAR certified, or approved directly by Efficiency Manitoba.

Registered Supplier

Logic Lighting is a registered Efficiency Manitoba supplier — we handle the entire application and rebate process for you.

Occupancy Sensors & Controls

Up to $100 per sensor. Daylight harvesting, scheduling, and smart controls all qualify for additional incentives.

Up to $250,000 for Major Projects

Large-scale retrofits and new construction can qualify for up to $250K in electrical efficiency funding through Efficiency Manitoba.

K–12 Schools

Manitoba Schools
Lighting Initiative

Efficiency Manitoba is offering K–12 schools across the province funding that covers up to 100% of eligible costs for LED lighting, lighting controls, and related labour. Your school pays nothing out of pocket.

MECB Compliant

Manitoba Energy Code for Buildings

Since January 1, 2024, the MECB (based on NECB 2020) sets new lighting power density requirements for all buildings. Schools with aging lighting systems may not meet current code — and this initiative provides a fully funded path to compliance.

100% Eligible Costs Covered
K–12 All Manitoba Schools

School Divisions & Independent Schools

All recognized K–12 institutions following the Manitoba curriculum are eligible — school divisions, independent schools, and Hutterite colony schools.

Urban, Rural & Northern

Funding is allocated across urban, rural, northern, and First Nations communities. Geographic challenges don't create barriers to participation.

LED + Controls + Labour

Covers LED lighting equipment, lighting controls (occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting), and all associated installation labour.

Existing Building Retrofits

Targets existing school buildings for lighting retrofits. New construction projects may qualify through Efficiency Manitoba's separate New Buildings Program.
